Heart Disease in Pets as They Age

While some types of heart disease are present at birth, most heart conditions in pets develop over time. We call these acquired heart diseases and it is important to recognize the signs of illness so that early intervention can take place. Join us on Wednesday, May 24th at 6pm ET as Dr. Samantha Kochie, Senior Veterinarian, Specialist in Cardiology at the Schwarzman Animal Medical Center, discusses the most common acquired heart diseases in dogs and cats, how they are diagnosed and treated, and the long-term prognosis of these conditions.

This is a free, online-only event hosted via Zoom (https://zoom.us/). The Zoom link will be emailed to all registered participants the day of the event. Please email UsdanInstitute@amcny.org with any questions.
