Neil M. McCarthy Promoted to Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer

New Role Will Oversee Animal Medical Center’s Strategic Growth

(January 24, 2022) The Stephen and Christine Schwarzman Animal Medical Center (AMC) is pleased to announce that Neil M. McCarthy has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer. A client for 32 years with over 25 years on the Board of Trustees, Mr. McCarthy joined AMC as Chief Administrative Officer in 2019, bringing deep institutional insight and strategic vision. In his new capacity, Mr. McCarthy will assume increased oversight of the hospital’s day-to-day operations including responsibility for the Office of Medical Affairs, Client Relations, Human Resources, and Information Technology divisions. Mr. McCarthy will also work closely with the hospital’s leadership team to drive growth.

Mr. McCarthy first came to the Schwarzman Animal Medical Center as a client in 1989 and served on the Board of Trustees for over 25 years, most recently as Chairman of the Executive Committee. His professional career in the investment management industry spanned over three decades in various leadership roles at both privately-owned firms and global industry leaders including: Salem, Wade & Company, Oppenheimer Funds, and Windham Capital Management. He received a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the College of the Holy Cross.
