Dr. Heather Brausa obtained her bachelor degree from the University of Virginia and received her doctorate in veterinary medicine from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary medicine. She completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Oradell Animal Hospital in NJ. She then spent a year at a private practice in Brooklyn, NY. In 2008, Dr. Brausa joined the Community Practice Service at the Animal Medical Center.
Dr. Brausa is a Long Island native who currently resides in a small Brooklyn apartment with her wife, two kiddos, two dogs, two cats and a turtle.
