About the Pet Insurance Specialist Role
The Schwarzman AMC Pet Insurance Specialist (PIS) oversees all insurance claim submissions for AMC pet parents while providing exemplary customer service.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Gathering carrier-specific information and creating detailed profiles for each carrier
- Must remain current on all insurance industry trends, in addition to analyzing claim denials and identifying common denial reasons while providing feedback and suggestions
- Help answer any incoming funding inquires and communications
- Responsible for reporting on claim denial data and all pet insurance industry trends
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years veterinary/medical clerical experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Well organized and ability to work with minimal supervision from home
- Ability to interact with all levels of insurance company staff, clients, and AMC staff
- Minimum: High School Diploma/Associates Degree
- Proficient computer skills Microsoft Office
Salary Range
$17.50 to $23.50 (max to hire)
