Qualifications

• Must be able to work as part of a team and autonomously with the liability to remain composed in stressful and emergency situations
• Must be flexible about working additional hours when necessary and have the willingness and determination to remain on the cutting edge of veterinary medicine.
• Strong Anesthesia and Diagnostic Imaging skill set with excellent communication skills.
• NYS Veterinary Technicians license or permit required.

Responsibilities

• Safely produce high quality imaging through the use of our MRI and CAT scan units
• Must have strong anesthesia skills, client relations skills
• Responsible for patient admission and support
• Must be able to work closely with other services.
• Must be able to learn the daily functions of the Animal Medical Center and the service to which they are reporting
• Must be able to maintain the workspace with both the stocking of the supplies and cleanliness.

Salary Range

$30.00 – $37.50 per hour
